Thank you so much to the audience who came out to support this performance! It was a cold Sunday night and dear friends showed up for encouragement and to hear great music.
We had Brigham Phillips on piano, Ted Quinlan on guitar and Peter Telford on upright bass. Such a pleasure it was to sing with these mega-talented musicians! We raised a total of $180.00 CAD, which I donated to the World Wildlife Fund Bushfire Emergency. I wish it could have been more. But it's a contribution at least, and I will always do my best to champion animals who cannot protect themselves against man or the ravages of our planet in its current state. These poor people and animals in Australia will feel the devastating effects of these horrible fires for hundreds of years to come.
